We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children in Nursery and Reception, helping them develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning at the start of their educational journey.
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will support children both individually and in small groups, helping to develop early literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills. Creating a calm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment will be central to your role. Observation and assessment will form part of your responsibilities, supporting teachers in monitoring children’s progress and identifying next steps. You will also assist with preparing learning resources, maintaining classroom organisation, and supporting daily routines such as outdoor learning and snack time.
