A successful primary school in Oxford is seeking a skilled Year 5 Teacher to join their upper Key Stage 2 team from January 2026. The Year 5 Teacher will plan and deliver ambitious sequences of learning that build pupils’ subject knowledge and prepare them for the demands of Year 6. This Year 5 Teacher will lead targeted interventions, support cross-curricular projects and contribute to phase moderation across the school and the wider Oxford partnership. The post begins January 2026, with induction and handover activity taking place before January 2026.

The Year 5 Teacher will use assessment to set precise next steps, run booster sessions and work with parents to secure the best outcomes for pupils. Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver sequenced Year 5 lessons that promote deep understanding and fluency.
