Are you an experienced teacher with a passion for supporting students with additional needs? A well-regarded secondary school in Oxford is seeking a committed SENCo to lead its provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) from January 2026. The Role

  • Full-time SENCo position, starting January 2026
  • Lead and manage the school’s SEND provision across KS3–KS5
  • Work closely with senior leaders, classroom teachers, and support staff to ensure high-quality teaching and learning for all students
  • Oversee EHCPs, access arrangements, and interventions for students with additional needs
  • Coordinate with parents, external agencies, and the local authority to provide effective support and guidance
  • Train and develop staff to ensure inclusive practice is embedded across the school

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete)

  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • A leader who can inspire both staff and students and foster a culture of inclusion
