A prestigious independent 11–18 school in Oxford is seeking an experienced SENCO to lead its SEND provision from January 2026. The school, with 800 pupils on roll and a reputation for academic distinction, places equal value on pastoral care and inclusion. The Learning Support Department plays a key role in ensuring that every student achieves their potential, regardless of individual learning differences.
The SENCO will oversee all aspects of the school’s SEND strategy, ensuring that teaching, assessment, and intervention are of the highest quality. Responsibilities include managing the Learning Support Team, coordinating EHCPs, liaising with parents and external specialists, and providing staff training on adaptive teaching and differentiation.
