Our client is seeking a dedicated, highly organised SENCo to join their Senior Leadership Team (SLT) from September. Working closely with teaching staff, parents, and external local authority specialists, you will take direct responsibility for maintaining, developing, and auditing the school's special educational needs provision.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Conducting statutory annual reviews
- Overseeing targeted intervention programs
- Managing the deployment of learning support assistants (LSAs)
- Designing bespoke learning timetables
- Liaising with speech and language therapists and educational psychologists
- Delivering internal CPD training to ensure all classroom teachers deliver high-quality, inclusive instruction
