Are you an adaptable LKS2 Teacher who enjoys teaching across Years 3 and 4 and shaping coherent Key Stage 2 practice? A forward-thinking primary school in Oxfordshire is recruiting a committed LKS2 Teacher to join a collaborative phase team from January 2026. The LKS2 Teacher will deliver sequenced lessons across lower KS2, design cumulative curriculum units and lead targeted small-group interventions where assessment identifies gaps. This LKS2 Teacher will support moderation, contribute to curriculum planning and coach colleagues on effective pedagogical approaches. An induction programme will be provided prior to January 2026, ensuring the LKS2 Teacher is prepared to teach from January 2026.
Role responsibilities:
- Plan and teach ambitious LKS2 lessons across Years 3 and 4 that build knowledge and application.
- Use assessment to set precise next steps and to design high-impact small-group teaching.
- Support year-group moderation, resource development and phase CPD across Oxfordshire.
- Mentor support staff to improve scaffolding and adaptive practice in the classroom.
- Lead transition work to ensure continuity between Year 2 and upper KS2.
