The KS2 Teacher will deliver well-planned sequences across Years 3–6 where required, analyse assessment information to target teaching, and lead targeted interventions that close gaps and extend learning. This KS2 Teacher post begins January 2026, with induction and planning sessions scheduled ahead of January 2026 to ensure a smooth start.
Position details- Role: KS2 Teacher — Oxford

- Contract: Permanent / Full-Time
The KS2 Teacher will plan, teach and assess high-quality lessons, contribute to moderation and curriculum development, and liaise with parents and external partners to support pupil progress. This KS2 Teacher will also work collaboratively with subject leads to deliver CPD and improve practice across the Key Stage in Oxford.
Main duties- Plan and deliver sequenced KS2 lessons that ensure knowledge retention and application.
- Use assessment to identify priorities and design effective small-group support and interventions.
- Support moderation activities and contribute to cross-phase curriculum development across the school and Oxford networks.
- Communicate progress to parents and contribute to reporting and review cycles.
- Take part in whole-school initiatives and pastoral programmes to support pupil wellbeing and engagement.
- Qualified teacher with robust KS2 experience and the ability to teach across multiple year groups.
- Strong planning, assessment and classroom management skills and a collaborative approach to improvement.
- Committed to CPD and ready to work within the Oxford school community.
- Available to begin January 2026 and to take part in induction before January 2026.
