Our client is seeking an articulate, hands-on Design & Technology Teacher to join their design and engineering faculty from September. You will deliver dynamic practical and theoretical lessons across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 (GCSE D&T), and Key Stage 5 (A-Level Product Design / Level 3 Engineering).
The department boasts cutting-edge workshop facilities, including 3D printing suites, laser cutters, CNC machinery, and dedicated CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, 2D Design). You will guide pupils through material properties, structural mechanics, iterative design processes, and portfolio development (NEA).

Qualifications & Criteria

QTS/QTLS and a relevant degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or D&T

Proven ability to teach across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5 curriculum frameworks

Sound working knowledge of workshop machinery safety standards (DATA standards) and modern CAD/CAM software

Enthusiasm for practical problem-solving and guiding students through non-examined assessment (NEA) portfolios
