The Opportunity & Role Profile

An excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a large secondary school as its Site Manager. This role carries significant responsibility for the security, maintenance and operational efficiency of the entire campus leading the in-house site support team.

Responsibilities & Scope

  • Team Commander: Direct line management and supervision of all Caretaking and cleaning teams overseeing rotas and performance.
  • Compliance Chief: Full responsibility for site security, statutory H&S checks and managing risk assessments.
  • Maintenance Planner: Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance, supervising external contractors and managing premises budgets in coordination with the School Business Manager.

Compensation & Benefits

Essential Requirements: Extensive experience in site or premises management, demonstrable maintenance skills and strong team leadership capability.

Salary Range: Highly competitive salary (expected to be £38,000 - £48,000 per annum).

Support: Generous Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and a high level of autonomy.
