A welcoming school in Northamptonshire is appointing a nurturing Nursery Teacher to start January 2026. This Nursery Teacher will design play-based learning, create stimulating indoor and outdoor environments and develop strong partnerships with families. The Nursery Teacher role is central to securing children's early language, physical development and personal, social and emotional growth.

  • Nursery Teacher required for a full-time or part-time position
  • Nursery Teacher required to work within an established Early Years setting in Northamptonshire
  • Nursery Teacher to lead high-quality nursery provision and support transition into Reception

The appointed Nursery Teacher will maintain accurate observations, use evidence to plan purposeful next steps and work closely with the Reception team to ensure continuity across EYFS. The post begins January 2026, with induction sessions beforehand to support the Nursery Teacher's successful integration into the setting.

  • Build strong home–school relationships and support family engagement.
  • Maintain safe, stimulating indoor and outdoor provision and oversee daily routines.

  • Relevant early-years qualifications and recent experience leading nursery provision.
  • Strong understanding of child development, observation and early years pedagogy.
  • Warm, organised practitioner who builds positive relationships with children and families.
  • Committed to contributing to the wider school community in Northamptonshire.
  • Able to start January 2026 and to attend induction sessions in the lead-up to term.
