A well-resourced primary school in Barnet is seeking a caring and organised Nursery Teacher to start January 2026.

The Nursery Teacher will lead the daily provision for the nursery cohort, planning play-based activities, managing routines and working closely with parents and the early years team.

This Nursery Teacher post is ideal for someone who enjoys creating stimulating indoor and outdoor learning areas and developing strong family partnerships in Barnet.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe, stimulating indoor/outdoor environment and lead daily routines.
  • Contribute to nursery improvement planning and staff training activities.

Person specification

  • Relevant early years qualifications and experience leading nursery provision.
  • Strong understanding of child development, safeguarding and effective observation practice.
  • Warm, reflective practitioner who builds positive relationships with children and families.
  • Able to start January 2026 and based in Barnet.
  • Committed to collaborative working and continuous improvement within the school's early years team.
