Join a dynamic Nottingham primary as a UKS2 Teacher from January 2026. The UKS2 Teacher will be central to delivering a cohesive Upper Key Stage 2 experience that develops independence, reasoning and scholarship.
Pre-term planning takes place before January 2026, induction is scheduled in January 2026, and classroom teaching begins January 2026.
Core responsibilities:- Teach ambitious, knowledge-rich programmes across Upper KS2.
- Deliver high-impact mathematics and literacy sequences.
- Run targeted interventions, support SATs readiness where appropriate, and lead assessment cycles.
- Work with middle leaders to develop subject plans and present progress updates.
The UKS2 Teacher will prepare schemes and materials before January 2026, refine approaches during induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026.
Requirements:- QTS/PGCE (or equivalent) and solid Upper KS2 experience.
- Strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom practice and the capacity to lead whole-class interventions.
- Able to attend planning sessions before January 2026, complete induction in January 2026, and start teaching in January 2026.
