We are excited to support a mixed secondary academy in Nottinghamshire that is seeking to appoint an Early Career Spanish Teacher from January. This is a full-time, permanent role, delivering Spanish across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE Spanish (and potential development toward A-Level).

About the Role

You will teach communicative, engaging Spanish lessons that nurture linguistic confidence and cultural curiosity. The modern languages department uses digital platforms, listening labs, and immersive resources to support learning. As an ECT, you’ll benefit from structured mentorship, planned induction, and a supportive team environment. You’ll also have scope to lead language clubs, cultural exchange programmes, and cross-curricular projects.

Candidate Profile

  • Holds or is completing QTS, PGCE, or equivalent qualification
  • Has solid subject knowledge and passion for Spanish / Modern Languages
  • Is ready to teach GCSE Spanish (and explore A-Level where possible)
  • Is organised, reflective, student-centred, and committed to developing practice
  • Has the legal right to work in the UK
