Key Responsibilities- Teaching & Learning
- Deliver engaging and academically rigorous Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for Key Stage 5
- Plan well-structured lessons that encourage critical thinking, discussion, and independent reflection
- Develop pupils’ understanding of world religions, ethics, philosophy, and contemporary moral issues
- Differentiating teaching to ensure challenge and support for all learners
- Prepare pupils effectively for internal assessments and public examinations
- Assessment & Progress
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress using a range of assessment strategies
- Provide high-quality feedback to support academic improvement
- Use data effectively to identify gaps in learning and implement targeted support
- Support pupils in developing strong exam and essay-writing techniques
- Student Support & Pastoral Care
- Build positive and respectful relationships with pupils to support engagement and achievement
