PE Teacher required to work full-time from January 2026 in a mixed 11–18 academy based in Nottinghamshire (West Bridgford area). Join a strong PE/Sport department with excellent infrastructure. We are seeking a PE Teacher to join a high-performing academy in the Nottingham area. The successful candidate will teach across KS3 & KS4, and may have opportunities to contribute to BTEC/Level 3 Sport depending on experience. The department is well supported, with modern facilities and a collaborative culture. Suitable for experienced teachers, ECTs, or overseas-qualified candidates with a recognised teaching qualification and QTS.
School Information: The academy has recently been rated Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted following its May 2025 inspection. It serves approximately 2,030 pupils aged 11–18, with a capacity slightly lower — demonstrating demand and growth. In its most recent GCSE cycle, nearly 90% of students achieved a standard pass in core subjects, and close to 75% achieved a strong pass in English and Maths. At A-Level, over one-third of grades awarded were A–A*, with over 70% in the A–B band. The school holds World Class Schools accreditation, adding to its prestige and profile. Experience & Qualifications: PE Teacher able to teach across KS3 & KS4 (support for Level 3/BTEC Sport is desirable). Possession of a formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE). Legal right to work in the UK.
