A successful secondary school in Nottingham is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher to join its Humanities department from January 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT looking to join a collaborative and supportive school environment.

Job Overview

The successful Geography Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping pupils develop strong geographical knowledge, analytical skills and an understanding of the wider world.

You will join an established Humanities team and contribute to curriculum development, assessment and wider school activities. Full-time and part-time options may be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Monitor pupil progress through effective assessment and feedback
  • Differentiate lessons to support pupils of varying abilities
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
  • Maintain high expectations of behaviour and academic achievement
  • Support enrichment opportunities and wider school activities

Candidate Requirements
