The Role
Teach engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Prepare students effectively for GCSE English Language and Literature.
Plan, assess and adapt lessons to meet the needs of different learners.
Contribute to departmental planning and wider English enrichment.
Work alongside experienced colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
The Ideal Candidate
Hold QTS and a relevant degree.
Have strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum.
Be a confident classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management.
Have high expectations of student achievement.
Be enthusiastic about developing students' literacy, communication and analytical skills.
