We are seeking a highly motivated, academically strong and enthusiastic Science ECT to join an Outstanding mainstream secondary school in Norwich. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Newly Qualified Science Teacher to begin their teaching career in a well-supported and academically ambitious environment.

As a Science Teacher, you will teach a broad and engaging curriculum across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop practical skills, scientific reasoning and confidence in core scientific principles. Opportunities to contribute to KS5 teaching may be available depending on specialism and experience.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
  • PGCE with QTS
  • Training to teach KS3/4 Science
  • Strong practical science knowledge and pedagogical understanding
  • A commitment to high standards and student progress

Salary: This Science ECT role will be paid to scale in line with MPS1.
