About the Role
You will teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and academically rigorous lessons that inspire confidence and a love of learning.
Students are encouraged to think critically, apply mathematical concepts to real-world situations, and develop the analytical skills required for success in further education and future careers.
You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics examinations, supporting them in achieving excellent outcomes and progressing to university courses and careers in STEM, finance, economics, and related fields.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a successful department that is committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and achievement.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Mathematics across KS3, KS4, and KS5
Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that promote mathematical thinking
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
Assess student work and provide detailed, constructive feedback
Monitor student progress and implement targeted intervention strategies
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
Support maths enrichment activities, competitions, and intervention programmes
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement

Candidate Requirements
Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level
Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Desirable
Experience teaching A-Level Mathematics or Further Mathematics
Experience working in a high-achieving school environment
Ability to contribute to maths enrichment activities and competitions
Strong track record of examination success
