We are delighted to be supporting a forward-thinking and welcoming primary school in Northamptonshire in their search for a KS1 Teacher and Subject Lead to join their team from January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious teacher who is ready to take the next step in their career by combining excellent classroom practice with leadership responsibilities. The successful candidate will teach a Key Stage 1 class while also leading a key subject area, driving high standards of teaching and learning across the school. You will work closely with senior leaders and colleagues to inspire both pupils and staff, contributing to the school’s ongoing success and development.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire KS1 pupils and promote a love of learning
- Lead a core or foundation subject, developing curriculum plans, supporting colleagues, and driving improvement
- Monitor pupil progress and attainment within your class and subject area, ensuring all children reach their potential
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where every child feels valued
- Collaborate with the leadership team to implement school priorities and initiatives
- Engage parents and carers in their children’s learning and school life
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment and extracurricular activities
