CORE PURPOSE
We require an inspiring, highly creative Drama Teacher to deliver outstanding theatrical and performing arts instruction across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities to contribute to post-16 advanced performance pathways. - GCSE Performance Optimization: Guide Year 11 examination cohorts meticulously through the rigorous demands of terminal written papers, live theatre evaluations, and practical performance moderation, utilizing diagnostic assessment tracking to maximize high-grade boundary retention.
- Closing Performance Attainment Gaps: Identify and target learning barriers within mixed-ability cohorts, deploying explicit character-building scaffolding, visual staging models, and low-stakes performance frameworks to ensure accessibility for SEND pupils while stretching high-prior-attaining actors.
- Inclusive Pastoral Support: Fulfil full form tutor responsibilities within an established year group structure, supporting pupil wellbeing, managing daily registration routines, and maintaining proactive, positive communication with families.
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
