We are recruiting a motivated Teacher of Mathematics to join a school in Newcastle from January 2027.
We are looking for someone who can make mathematics accessible and engaging, challenge pupils appropriately and help them develop confidence in problem-solving and mathematical reasoning.
Planning and delivering high-quality mathematics lessons.
Explaining mathematical concepts clearly.
Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching where needed.
Encouraging logical thinking and independent problem-solving.
Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
Effective lesson-planning and behaviour management skills.
High expectations of pupil achievement.
A positive and collaborative approach to teaching.
