We are seeking an organised and proactive School Business Manager to support the day-to-day operational and administrative functions of a secondary school in Newcastle.
This role would suit someone with experience in school operations, finance or administration who can help ensure the school runs efficiently and that resources, budgets and support services are managed effectively.
Overseeing day-to-day school business and administrative operations.
Supporting budget management, financial monitoring and reporting.
Coordinating procurement, contracts and supplier relationships.
Managing administrative processes and maintaining accurate records.
Supporting premises management, health and safety and compliance.
Working closely with senior leaders to improve operational efficiency.
Helping ensure school policies and procedures are followed.
Previous experience in school business management, operations or administration.
Strong organisational, financial and problem-solving skills.
Confidence managing budgets, resources and competing priorities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively with senior leaders.
