The Role
Year 2 Teaching: Lead a Year 2 class with a clear focus on progress and engagement.
Reading: Develop reading fluency, comprehension and confidence.
Phonics: Deliver effective phonics teaching and targeted catch-up.
Mathematics: Develop secure understanding of number and calculation.
SEND Support: Adapt lessons for pupils requiring additional support.
Assessment: Use observations and formal assessment to inform planning.
Pastoral: Build strong relationships with pupils and families.
The Candidate
QTS.
KS1 experience.
Strong phonics knowledge.
Understanding of SEND provision.
Nurturing and enthusiastic teaching style.
