Core Responsibilities

Exemplary Instruction: Delivering high-challenge Physics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE Triple and Combined Science), with significant opportunities for A-Level Physics instruction.

Practical Mastery: Leading sophisticated laboratory investigationsâfrom investigating circuit components to determining the gravitational field strengthâensuring students develop precise technical and analytical skills.

Conceptual Clarity: Demystifying abstract and complex theories, including wave-particle duality, nuclear fission and fusion, and the intricacies of Newtonian mechanics.

Mathematical Integration: Training students to master the quantitative requirements of the curriculum, including the manipulation of complex equations and the interpretation of high-level graphical data.

The Successful Candidate We are looking for a subject authority who views Physics as the key to solving the worldâs most pressing technological challenges. Requirements include:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong honours degree in Physics, Astrophysics, or a related Engineering discipline.
