Are you an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher ready to shape the next generation of musicians and performers? A vibrant, high-performing secondary school in Gloucester is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to join its Performing Arts Faculty from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position, perfect for a dynamic teacher who combines technical skill, creativity, and a passion for music education.

The Role

  • You will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in Music across KS3–KS5, inspiring students to explore performance, composition, and musical analysis.
  • The successful candidate will teach both classical and contemporary music, encourage ensemble participation, and prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
  • You will also direct musical performances, school concerts, and community showcases, and have the opportunity to integrate music technology, digital production, and live performance into your teaching.
