Are you a creative and passionate Music Teacher who loves to inspire students through performance, composition, and creativity? A well-regarded and academically ambitious secondary school in Reading is seeking an enthusiastic Music Teacher to join its thriving Performing Arts Department from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent role, offering the opportunity to teach motivated students in a school where the arts are celebrated and supported.
The Role
You will teach Music across KS3–KS5, delivering lessons that inspire creativity and technical skill. The department promotes a balance between classical and contemporary music, encouraging students to explore everything from orchestral performance to digital production. Beyond the classroom, you’ll lead or support the school’s busy extra-curricular music programme, which includes choirs, bands, and theatre productions.
