An Outstanding secondary school in Haringey is seeking a talented Music Teacher to join its successful Creative Arts department on a full-time, permanent basis.

The school has a strong focus on Music and the Performing Arts, with dedicated facilities and opportunities for students to develop their skills beyond the classroom. Current Haringey vacancies highlight strong Music provision across KS3 and KS4, with dedicated rehearsal and performance facilities.

The Role

You will teach Music across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop their confidence in performance, composition and musical theory.

  • Teaching Music from KS3 through to KS4

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons

  • Preparing students for GCSE Music

  • Teaching composition, theory and performance

  • Assessing and tracking student progress

  • Supporting performances and concerts

  • Contributing to extracurricular Music activities

  • Working closely with the wider Creative Arts team

  • Developing students' enthusiasm for Music

About You

You should hold QTS and a relevant Music degree, with experience teaching Music through to KS4.

The school welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs who are passionate about Music and keen to develop their teaching within a supportive department.
