We are seeking an inspirational, ambitious, and committed Key Stage 3 Maths Lead to drive standards and curriculum development within the highly successful Mathematics faculty at an Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary academy in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position starting in January 2026.

The successful applicant will be an exceptional Mathematics specialist ready to take on a significant middle leadership role. You will be responsible for the strategic vision, curriculum design, assessment, and academic progress of all students in Key Stage 3 Maths. This role is crucial for ensuring a strong foundation that leads to exceptional outcomes at GCSE and A-Level. The role comes with a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR 2b) payment, reflecting the substantial leadership responsibilities involved in managing this vital stage of the curriculum and potentially line-managing a small team of KS3 teachers. We Are Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

- Prior experience in curriculum development, assessment coordination, or management of a specific key stage or intervention area.
- Strong pedagogical skills with a focus on delivering high-quality, engaging lessons to develop foundational mathematical understanding.

Salary and Benefits:
- Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Outer London Teachers (currently £37,870 - £56,154 for 2025/2026).
- Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR 2b) payment, typically ranging from £5,541 to £8,611 (for 2025/2026).
