About the Role
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that develop students' confidence, mathematical reasoning, and problem‑solving abilities.
Students follow a broad curriculum covering algebra, geometry, statistics, probability, mechanics, and calculus. You will prepare students for GCSE and A‑Level Mathematics examinations while fostering logical thinking, resilience, and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.
You will also contribute to the wider life of the department through maths clubs, intervention programmes, UK Mathematics Trust competitions, STEM initiatives, and enrichment activities that encourage students to explore Mathematics beyond the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics across KS3, KS4, and KS5

Candidate Requirements
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level
- Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Desirable
- Experience teaching A‑Level or Further Mathematics
- Experience supporting maths competitions or STEM activities
- Ability to inspire and challenge students of all abilities
- A proven track record of delivering excellent student outcomes
