Maths Teacher Role in a High‑Achieving Secondary School
A high‑achieving secondary school in Dudley is seeking to appoint an ambitious and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join its successful Mathematics department from September. About the Role
The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and intellectually stimulating lessons that develop students’ mathematical fluency, reasoning, and problem‑solving skills.
Students follow a carefully sequenced curriculum covering number, algebra, geometry, statistics, probability, and mathematical modelling, with many choosing to continue their studies through A‑Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics. The teacher will prepare students for GCSE and A‑Level examinations while encouraging them to develop confidence in applying mathematical concepts to a wide range of real‑world situations.
In addition to classroom teaching, the teacher will contribute to curriculum development, intervention programmes, STEM initiatives, maths competitions, and enrichment activities that inspire students to develop a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics across KS3, KS4, and KS5

Candidate Requirements
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level
- Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills

- Experience teaching A‑Level and Further Mathematics
- Experience contributing to STEM or mathematics enrichment initiatives
