Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Maths ECT looking to begin your teaching career in an inspiring and supportive environment? An Outstanding Ofsted-rated boys’ secondary school in Merton (ages 11–18) is seeking a dedicated and creative Maths Teacher (ECT) to join their successful Maths Department from January 2026.

The Role
  • Teach engaging and well-planned lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
  • Contribute to the ongoing success of a collaborative and high-achieving Maths Department.
  • Participate fully in school life, including enrichment activities and extra-curricular clubs.
  • Receive tailored guidance, training, and mentoring from experienced colleagues.
Requirements
  • Is completing their PGCE or equivalent qualification and will hold QTS by January 2026.
  • Has a genuine passion for Maths and for helping young people reach their potential.
  • Demonstrates creativity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Is a strong communicator with excellent classroom management skills.
  • Values teamwork and is eager to contribute to a supportive learning community.
