Are you an inspiring Year 3 Teacher ready to lead engaging learning in a busy Manchester primary from January 2026? We are partnering with a dynamic school in Manchester to recruit a committed Year 3 Teacher who will promote deep learning, resilience and strong subject knowledge across the year group.
The Year 3 Teacher will be responsible for designing ambitious, coherent curriculum sequences that develop pupils’ knowledge and reasoning, delivering formative and summative assessment, and leading targeted interventions. The successful Year 3 Teacher will work with subject leaders to support moderation, contribute to professional development and help drive phase improvement. An induction programme will be provided prior to January 2026 so the Year 3 Teacher can be operational for the spring term beginning January 2026.
Responsibilities- Plan sequenced Year 3 lessons that balance knowledge acquisition with application and reasoning.
- Use assessment data to set precise targets and to adapt teaching strategies to improve outcomes.
- Lead small-group teaching to close gaps and provide challenge for higher achievers.
- Collaborate on curriculum design, share effective practice and support colleagues in Manchester.
- Communicate progress to parents and take part in reporting and review cycles.
- Qualified teacher with strong experience in Key Stage 2 and proven Year 3 impact.
- Confident planner with secure subject knowledge and effective behaviour strategies.
- Reflective, collaborative and committed to continuous professional development.
- Ready to take up post January 2026 and to contribute to school life across Manchester.
