An academically ambitious independent school in Manchester is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Physics Teacher from October half term. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established Science department and teach within an environment where students are encouraged to think critically, investigate ideas and develop a genuine understanding of the subject.
The role will include:
- Teaching Physics across KS3 and KS4
- Teaching GCSE Physics where appropriate
- Planning practical and engaging Science lessons
- Supporting students with examination preparation
- Developing students' analytical and problem-solving skills
- Assessing and monitoring progress
- Contributing to departmental planning and wider school activities
The school is looking for someone who can combine excellent subject knowledge with an engaging classroom presence. You'll ideally have:
- QTS or equivalent
- A degree or strong academic background in Physics or a related subject
- Secondary teaching experience
