A well-established secondary school in Manchester is seeking an experienced, proactive, and reliable Site Manager to oversee all facilities management from January 2026. The school is committed to maintaining a safe learning environment and is seeking a motivated leader to manage site security, maintenance, and compliance.
You will be responsible for the security, maintenance, and upkeep of the entire school site and buildings. This includes leading the premises team, managing external contractors, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety (H&S) legislation, and managing site budgets for repairs and upkeep.
Experience and Qualifications- Proven experience in a Site Manager, Premises Manager, or facilities management role, ideally within a school.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH, Fire Safety, and statutory compliance regulations.
- Practical skills in general maintenance, minor repairs, and building upkeep.
- Proven ability to manage a team of cleaners/caretakers and oversee contractor relationships.
