Hours: 12.5 hours per week, all year round
Working pattern: Afternoons, 15:10–17:40. Morning shifts, 05:30–08:00, may also be considered.
We are looking for a dependable School Cleaner to join a school in Manchester. The successful candidate will play an important role in keeping the school clean, hygienic and safe for pupils, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine cleaning across classrooms and communal areas.
Clean toilets and other facilities to the required hygiene standards.
Empty bins and remove waste safely.
Replenish cleaning and washroom supplies.
Follow instructions for the safe handling and storage of cleaning products.
Check equipment after use and report faults or hazards promptly.
Maintain tidy cleaning cupboards and storage areas.
What We’re Looking For
A conscientious and reliable approach.
An understanding of safe working practices, with training provided where needed.
The ability to manage tasks efficiently and work as part of a team.
Flexibility to cover colleagues when necessary.
School or commercial cleaning experience would be an advantage.
