School Administrator
A welcoming Primary School in Trafford is seeking an organised and professional School Administrator to join its friendly office team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a busy school environment and takes pride in providing outstanding support to pupils, parents and colleagues. The successful candidate will become a key member of the administrative team, ensuring the school office operates efficiently while delivering a professional and welcoming service.
Working closely with the Headteacher and Office Manager, you will act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents and external agencies, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed. You will manage telephone and email enquiries, maintain pupil records, update attendance information, process admissions and leavers and support the wider administration of the school.
The role also includes organising meetings, preparing correspondence and reports, maintaining confidential records, updating the school's management information system and supporting the coordination of educational visits, school events and parent communications. You will assist with ordering office supplies and contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative systems and processes.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, exceptional organisational abilities and the confidence to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a calm and professional approach.

Requirements
Previous school administration experience desirable
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
Experience using Arbor, Bromcom or SIMS desirable
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Friendly, professional and proactive approach
