An Outstanding post-16 provider in South Manchester is seeking an experienced Psychology & Sociology Teacher for January 2026 to support continued growth in their thriving Humanities faculty.

Psychology/Sociology Teacher required from January 2026 in Manchester – Outstanding Sixth Form / Grammar-style environment. Seeking a specialist able to deliver AQA/Edexcel Psychology and Sociology at KS4–KS5 with a focus on critical thinking and applied research skills.

You will shape an engaging curriculum that supports university progression, delivering content that blends theory, investigation and real-world case studies. The role requires confidence in developing independent learning and supporting students applying for Psychology, Criminology, Social Sciences and related degrees.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • QTS desirable; A-Level delivery experience essential.
  • Degree in Psychology, Sociology or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience differentiating content for high-achieving learners.
  • Ability to support students with EPQ and academic research.
