A leading independent day school in Manchester is seeking an ambitious Physics Teacher committed to challenging practical and theoretical science from January 2026.

Physics Specialist required from January 2026 at a Manchester-based independent school with specialist university-grade science facilities. Ideal for a scientist committed to rigorous experimentation and high-level KS5 teaching.

The role involves teaching Physics across KS3 and KS5 (A-Level and possibly IB) making full use of the specialist laboratories for challenging practical tasks. You will be expected to run academic extension clubs (e.g. engineering astrophysics) and contribute to the school's rigorous academic ethos.

Experience and Qualifications
  • QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification) and a degree in Physics or Engineering.
