Our client is looking to appoint a practical, organised and enthusiastic Design & Technology Technician to join a successful secondary school near Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with practical workshop experience who is looking to develop their career within an educational environment.
The successful DT Technician will work closely with teachers to ensure that practical lessons are well prepared, safe and fully resourced. Responsibilities will include preparing materials and equipment, maintaining workshops, supporting practical projects and ensuring that health and safety procedures are consistently followed.
The school welcomes applications from experienced technicians as well as candidates with relevant practical, engineering, construction, manufacturing or design backgrounds who are looking to transfer their skills into education.

Experience and Qualifications

Previous experience in a technical, workshop or practical environment desirable

Relevant DT, Engineering, Manufacturing or practical qualification desirable
