About the Role
You will teach Business Studies at A-Level, delivering engaging and academically rigorous lessons that challenge students to think critically about real-world business issues and contemporary economic developments.
Students will study a broad range of topics including marketing, operations, finance, human resources, strategic decision-making, and business growth. You will support learners in developing strong analytical, evaluative, and examination skills while preparing them for success in higher education and future careers.

Key Responsibilities
Teach A-Level Business Studies
Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that promote academic excellence
Prepare students for A-Level examinations
Assess student work and provide detailed, constructive feedback
Monitor student progress and implement effective intervention strategies
Contribute to curriculum planning and resource development
Support enterprise projects, competitions, and enrichment activities
Maintain high expectations for achievement and student conduct

Candidate Requirements
Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Business Studies
Strong subject knowledge in Business and related disciplines
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Commitment to securing outstanding student outcomes
Desirable
Experience teaching A-Level Business
Experience working in a Sixth Form College or post-16 setting
Degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related subject
Ability to contribute to enterprise and careers programmes
Strong track record of examination success
