A welcoming primary school in Manchester is looking for a friendly and organised Administrator/Receptionist to join its busy school office. You'll be the first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff and visitors, helping ensure the school runs smoothly each day.
What You'll Be Doing
Welcoming visitors and managing reception enquiries professionally.
Answering telephone calls and responding to emails.
Maintaining pupil records and updating the school's management information system.
Supporting attendance administration and contacting parents when required.
Managing incoming and outgoing post and general correspondence.
Assisting with admissions, new starter paperwork and pupil transfers.
Providing administrative support to the Headteacher and wider staff team.
Maintaining confidentiality and following safeguarding procedures.
About You
You'll have strong organisational and communication skills, a professional telephone manner and the ability to manage several tasks at once. Previous reception or administration experience is essential, ideally within a school or education setting.
Experience using SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom would be advantageous, alongside good Microsoft Office skills.
An enhanced DBS check will be required.
