A highly regarded secondary school in Manchester is seeking an inspirational and creative Art Teacher to join its successful Art & Design department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about developing students' creativity, technical ability and confidence.
The successful candidate will teach Art across KS3and KS4, delivering an engaging curriculum covering a broad range of techniques, processes, materials and artistic styles. You will be expected to create an inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to experiment, develop independent ideas and produce ambitious outcomes.
The school is happy to consider applications from experienced Art Teachers and ECTs, as well as suitably qualified overseas-trained teachers with QTS.

Experience and Qualifications

Art Teacher able to teach KS3 and KS4

Relevant Art, Fine Art, Art & Design or related degree

Formal teaching qualification with QTS

Strong knowledge of artistic techniques and processes

Ability to plan and deliver engaging practical lessons

Effective classroom and behaviour management

Ability to support students with different abilities and learning needs

Right to work in the UK
