The Opportunity
An independent school in Barnet is looking for a Physics Teacher to join its team from January 2027.

The Role
You’ll teach Physics across the relevant secondary key stages, delivering lessons that balance theory with practical learning.
Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging Physics lessons.

Explaining complex concepts clearly and confidently.

Using practical demonstrations and investigations to support learning.

Preparing students for assessments and examinations.

Marking work, tracking progress and providing useful feedback.

Maintaining high standards of behaviour and safe working practices during practical lessons.
About You
You’ll be a qualified Physics Teacher with strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for your subject. You should be confident explaining difficult topics in an accessible way and helping students of different abilities make progress.
