We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Maidstone. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed practitioner to work with pupils in Key Stage 2, helping them consolidate their learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across the Year 4 curriculum, creating engaging and challenging lessons that inspire curiosity and promote a love of learning. Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and presentation will be essential, while ensuring that all pupils feel supported and included. You will work closely with colleagues across the school to ensure continuity of learning and progression across the year group. Assessment will be used effectively to monitor progress and inform planning, and you will contribute to whole-school initiatives and curriculum development.

This role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners. ECTs will benefit from structured mentoring and professional development, while experienced teachers will have opportunities to lead initiatives and share good practice across the school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 4 curriculum
  • Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils, ideally Year 4
