Year 3 Teacher – Maidenhead, Berkshire

We are seeking a motivated, creative, and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Maidenhead, starting as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to teach a key stage where children develop independence, resilience, and critical skills in literacy, numeracy, and the wider curriculum. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 3 class, planning and delivering engaging lessons that challenge and support all pupils. • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum
• Monitor pupil progress and use assessment to inform planning and differentiation
• Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs, including SEND and EAL learners
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Promote positive behaviour, independence, and social development
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues, and school leadership to maintain consistency and high expectations
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers about pupil progress, achievements, and next steps
• Participate in staff meetings, CPD sessions, and school-wide initiatives
• Support pupils in building confidence, resilience, and a love of learning

This role provides the opportunity to make a lasting impact on children’s learning and personal development during a formative stage of Key Stage 2.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 3
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in literacy, numeracy, and the wider curriculum
• Be confident in differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all learners
• Possess excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Be creative, reflective, and committed to professional development
• Show dedication to safeguarding, inclusion, and promoting pupil wellbeing
