Our client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Sociology teacher to join a successful mixed secondary school in Luton. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Sociology at KS4 and KS5 and will become part of a department that is passionate about encouraging students to understand society, challenge assumptions and develop their ability to think critically.

The successful Sociology teacher will benefit from a supportive working environment, experienced colleagues and well-developed schemes of work. The department is committed to achieving strong academic outcomes while ensuring that lessons remain engaging and relevant to students.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Sociology teacher with the ability to teach confidently at KS4 and KS5

  • Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as PGCE

  • Legal right and eligibility to work within the UK
