You would be working in a successful Humanities department teaching History across KS3, KS4 and KS5. The department is well-established and highly collaborative, with a strong focus on delivering engaging lessons that develop analytical thinking, source evaluation and independent enquiry skills.

Students are enthusiastic about History and enjoy exploring a broad curriculum covering British, European and world history. Lessons are designed to challenge students academically while encouraging discussion, debate and critical thinking. The department has a strong record of excellent examination outcomes and supports students of all abilities to achieve success.

Teachers work collaboratively to share resources, best practice and intervention strategies across all key stages. Staff are encouraged to contribute positively to enrichment opportunities including trips, history clubs and wider school activities.
