You would be working in a well-equipped and innovative Design Technology department teaching DT across KS3, KS4 and KS5. The department benefits from excellent workshop facilities, CAD resources and specialist equipment that allow students to develop creativity, technical knowledge and practical skills.
Students are enthusiastic about Design Technology and enjoy exploring resistant materials, product design and engineering concepts through engaging practical lessons. The curriculum is carefully planned to support creativity, problem-solving and independent thinking while preparing students for further education and careers within the creative and technical industries.
The department works collaboratively to deliver high-quality teaching and ensure students of all abilities are supported and challenged effectively. Teachers are encouraged to contribute to extracurricular activities, STEM projects and wider school enrichment opportunities.
