An Outstanding Southwark primary seeks an ambitious and creative Year 5 Teacher to join KS2 on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The successful Year 5 Teacher will take part in planning ahead of January 2026, will attend a structured induction in January 2026, and will teach from January 2026.

This Full-Time Year 5 Teacher role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading enrichment, preparing pupils for upper KS2 and contributing to whole-school initiatives.

The Year 5 Teacher will coordinate trips, run parent transition evenings and prepare pupils for Year 6 β€” responsibilities that will begin planning before January 2026 and implement from January 2026.

We are looking for a Year 5 Teacher with QTS, strong KS2 track record and the ability to mentor others. The Year 5 Teacher should be available for pre-term preparation prior to January 2026, induction in January 2026, and full teaching duties from January 2026. The school provides coaching and progression opportunities for the Year 5 Teacher after the January 2026 start.
